Contact Dr. Eldridge Dr. Jennifer Eldridge is a licensed psychologist who works with children, adolescents, adults, and families. Dr. Eldridge has extensive clinical experience working in a variety of settings. Prior to beginning work in private practice, Dr. Eldridge provided outpatient treatment at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic. The primary emphasis of Dr. Eldridge’s services is assisting clients with depression, anxiety disorders, disruptive behavior problems, learning problems at school, coping with life stressors (e.g. divorce, loss of a loved one, etc.), and anger issues. Her approach helps clients to develop their current areas of strength; identify and access available personal, community, and family resources that will support them in their goals; and learn alternative ways of thinking and behaving in order to overcome obstacles. Dr. Eldridge completed her entire education at the University of New Mexico earning a B.A. in psychology followed by a Master’s degree and a Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology. She then completed her internship and post-doctoral fellowship training at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center Children’s Psychiatric Hospital. Dr. Eldridge moved to the Pittsburgh area in 2002. |
