Contact Christine

Christine Doolittle is a Registered Dietitian, Board Certified Specialist in Sports Nutrition, and a Certified LEAP Therapist.

Christine specializes in nutritional counseling for disordered eating, sports nutrition, weight management, disease management, food allergies, and food sensitivities. Christine's approach to Nutrition Therapy incorporates a non-diet approach -- focusing on cognitive and behavior modification – that addresses diet, lifestyle, body image and exercise. She teaches how to nourish your body to best meet your health, fitness and weight goals including how to foster a positive and enjoyable relationship with food. In addition, Christine's work as a Certified LEAP Therapist has allowed her to identify patient-specific food sensitivities for the management of irritable bowel syndrome, fibromyalgia, and migraine headaches, as well as many other heath conditions.

Christine has over sixteen years of experience in private practice, focusing on individual and group counseling. She has also served on the faculty of the Department of Clinical Dietetics and Nutrition at the University of Pittsburgh. Christine is a member of the American Dietetic Association, The Pittsburgh Dietetic Association, and a member of the practice groups for SCAN (Sports, Cardiovascular and Wellness Nutrition), Nutrition in Complimentary Care, and Nutrition Entrepreneurs.

Christine received her Bachelor of Science degree in Foods and Nutrition from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and her Masters degree in Nutrition, with an emphasis on Exercise Science and Risk Factor Management, from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
