A native of the Pittsburgh area, Dr. Michael Schneider received his BA in Psychology from Duquesne University, and his doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. After completing a pre-doctoral internship at Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey, Dr. Schneider returned to the Pittsburgh area.

Dr. Schneider has particular regard in his services for the importance of understanding each client as an individual who creates unique meaning and purpose for her or his life.

Dr. Schneider has nearly 20 years of experience conducting Career/Vocational evaluations and providing comprehensive and personalized career coaching services. As a Career Coach, Dr. Schneider draws from his own personal business experience, including nine years owning and managing a private practice. His background as a psychologist provides Dr. Schneider with the unique ability to integrate personality factors and other psychological information into his career advice (unlike other business-oriented career coaches or career counselors), which can be enormously helpful in guiding clients toward establishing and sustaining meaningful, satisfying career/employment direction.
